This notice explains how Zamkah Technologies Limited handles personal information through its corporate website and enquiry channels. It does not replace a separate privacy notice for a client project, group-company service or product.
Who we are
Zamkah Technologies Limited, RC 1697122, is the data controller for the corporate website and its own enquiries. Our business address is No. 15 Zaria Road, Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. Contact corporate@zamkah.com.ng or +234 805 709 2686 for privacy matters. This is our corporate privacy contact, not a designated Data Protection Officer address.
Information we collect
The enquiry form asks for name, organisation, email, phone, requested service, project type, project summary, target timeline, optional budget range and an acknowledgment of the stated processing. Required fields help us understand and respond to a request; you may contact us directly instead of using the form. Hosting services process technical request information, such as network addresses and request/device information, to operate the website. Submission verification uses limited tokens and temporary security records. Do not submit national identification documents, passwords, bank-account details or sensitive personal information unless specifically required through an authorised process.
Why we process information
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process the information necessary for those steps on the pre-contractual basis under section 25(1)(b)(i) of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. For general correspondence and contacts acting for organisations, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling relevant business enquiries, subject to your rights and reasonable expectations. We also rely on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website. These interests must not override your fundamental rights and freedoms. Where a specific legal duty requires processing, we use the legal-obligation basis for that duty. We ask separately for consent where it is the applicable basis; acknowledging this notice is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.
Enquiries
Enquiry delivery is currently disabled. The form validates your details without emailing or saving an enquiry record. Contacting our corporate email uses your own email service and is separate from the form. When email delivery is enabled, validated enquiry details will be sent through Resend to corporate@zamkah.com.ng so authorised personnel can respond. Resend and the corporate mailbox will process the email; the website has no enquiry database and does not log submission contents. A delivery acknowledgment does not guarantee mailbox receipt or a response time.
Security and abuse prevention
We use proportionate checks to prevent spam and misuse. Turnstile is currently disabled. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile will obtain a verification token through your browser and the server will verify it before continuing. This security check is separate from emailing your enquiry and is intended to protect the service, not to profile you for business or advertising decisions. You can contact us directly if you cannot complete a form check.
Service providers and recipients
Vercel provides current website hosting and infrastructure. When email delivery is enabled, Resend processes the enquiry for delivery and the corporate mailbox provider receives and stores the email for authorised Zamkah personnel. When enabled, Cloudflare provides Turnstile verification using signals such as IP address, user-agent and connection information. Cloudflare describes itself as a processor for protecting customer sites and a controller for signals used to improve its bot detection; its own privacy notice addresses that latter use. We may disclose relevant information where required by law or necessary for a lawful claim. External websites and services have their own privacy arrangements.
International processing
Hosting and email or verification providers may process information in countries outside Nigeria, including the United States. The destination, provider arrangements and protection available must be assessed for the relevant processing. Transfers require a recorded basis under sections 41–43 of the Nigeria Data Protection Act, such as contractual safeguards affording adequate protection or another applicable statutory condition. This notice does not assert that any destination is adequate or that a transfer mechanism has been approved. Contact our privacy address for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.
Retention
We limit retention to the purpose for which information is needed and applicable legal obligations. Relevant criteria include whether an enquiry remains active, whether it becomes an engagement, contractual and record-keeping obligations, and a specific dispute or security investigation. The disabled form does not save enquiry records. Short-lived security records are limited to their verification purpose. When delivery is enabled, enquiry correspondence and provider records will require a defined deletion schedule, including mailbox copies and backups. A legal hold may require relevant records to be retained for the matter concerned; unnecessary information should otherwise be deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to and a copy of your personal data, rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, erasure, restriction of processing, and object to processing. You may exercise applicable portability rights to receive or transmit data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting lawful processing before withdrawal. You also have applicable rights concerning solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, including human intervention and challenging such a decision. Contact our privacy address; we may seek proportionate information to verify your identity and will explain any lawful restriction affecting a request.
Automated decision-making
The corporate enquiry workflow does not currently make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. Form validation and, when enabled, spam verification are security measures, not automated decisions about whether to enter a business relationship.
Cookies and analytics
Optional analytics and tracking are disabled. No analytics consent banner is shown. Vercel Authentication protects restricted access and may use essential authentication cookies. The application does not add advertising trackers. Future analytics would require a separate processing assessment, clear notice and any legally required consent before activation.
Protecting information
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including access controls and proportionate handling of enquiries. No website or communication system can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary enquiry channels.
Children
This service is intended for business, professional and institutional enquiries and is not directed to children. Please do not intentionally submit children’s personal data. If such information is submitted inadvertently, contact us so that we can assess and address it appropriately. No age-verification system is provided by this enquiry form.
Complaints
You may contact Zamkah to raise a privacy concern. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), after or alongside internal remediation as permitted by law. Contacting us does not require you to give up or delay any right to seek regulatory or other lawful relief.
